Shopping in Santa Monica

Santa Monica offers a haven for shoppers, with its Third Street Promenade and Main Street areas.

Third Street Promenade
A three-block-long pedestrianised street offering world-class boutiques, independent art stores, bookstores galore and national chains. Stores are intermixed with outdoor cafes and attractive fountains and gardens.

At the southern end of Third Street is Santa Monica Place - a multi-storey shopping mall with a great selection of stores and eating options.

Main Street
Main Street offers another collection of fine stores located in historic buildings. Stores for surfing fans can also be found here.

The Pier
This is the place to find your Santa Monica souvenirs, with stalls selling T-shirts, caps, postcards and personalised gifts.
