Eating in Tombstone

Traditions don't die easily, and when you're in what remains of the Wild West, expect opportunities to eat like you're in the Wild West! A hearty meal in Tombstone is never far away, with barbecued food, steaks, beans and everything else to keep a cowboy from going hungry.

As the town caters predominantly for tourists, its reconstructed historic center is filled with faithfully rowdy saloons and eateries.

Amongst the better eateries, try:

  • Big Nose Kate's Saloon & Restaurant
Set in what was originally the Grand Hotel, built in 1881. The Earps, Clantons and McLaury's had all been guests in this hotel. Today the restaurant, named after Doc Holliday's girlfriend, feeds the hungry with juicy fayre.
    Location: Allen Street
    Website.

  • The Lamplight Room
Fine dining and boarding in the center of Tombstone.
    Location: 4th & Safford Streets.
