By Air
In order to get to Prince Edward County you’ll need to fly into Toronto, Ottawa or Montreal. Thereafter you’ll have to take the Highway 401 east if coming from Toronto, or west if coming from Ottawa or Montreal. Pearson International Airport in Toronto is the closest to Prince Edward County.

For visitors from the U.S: the closest international border crossing is near Alexandria Bay in New York. You’ll have to access the 401 from this point and drive west until you hit either highway 49 or 62 and drive south, following the signs to Prince Edward County.

Getting Around Prince Edward County
The easiest way to get around Prince Edward County is by car. There are many avid cyclists in the County and if you would like to rent a bicycle you can do so at Ideal Bike located on main street Picton or the Bloomfield Bicycle Shop in Bloomfield for about $25.00 a day or 2 days for $40.00.

Taking a taxi around Prince Edward County is not very practical as the distances between areas are so great. If you’re arriving from an airport it’s wise to pick up your vehicle at that point. There isn’t a public bus system in Prince Edward County.
