Currah’s
Restaurant is popular amongst the local folk. I can’t
count the number of times that relatives and friends have said “you
must try Currah’s.” It is conveniently located in downtown
Picton very close to the historic Regent Theatre. You
can grab a great lunch for about twenty dollars. Try their blackened prime
rib. Pay a visit to the Bean
Counter in downtown Picton. They display
local artist’s works and serve homemade cakes and muffins as well
as various teas and coffees in a cosy atmosphere. The service is fast
and friendly and you can purchase a huge cup of tea and a croissant for
about $5.00. Angeline’s
Restaurant is located in the lovely village of Bloomfield
just west of Picton on Hwy 33. This restaurant has been featured in various
magazines and newspapers as one of the best places to eat in Ontario.
All the food is based on traditional French cuisine. Try their pastries.
You can eat here for about $30.00 per person.
