Travelling to Dubai Emirates - the main airline - is perhaps the best way to get to Dubai. Emirates offers an excellent service from many airports around the world and will soon operate from a new terminal at Dubai International Airport. The airport is a visually stunning building and offers award winning shopping and facilities.
Car hire is good value if you shop around and fuel prices are extremely low, but the roads can be quite daunting at busy periods. The best way to get around is by taxi, all drivers are friendly and speak English and prices are extremely good, but a small tip is expected. Boat cruises are also available if you fancy a sunset meal sailing along the coast of the Gulf.
