With the city’s prominent student
population, naturally there is a lot on offer any night of the week. An
incredible selection of pubs, bars and nightclubs are spread throughout
the city.
- Revolution
A great vodka and cocktail bar, offering cool music
and a great selection of drinks at reasonable prices.
- The Tube
Located next door to Revolution, offering much more
comfortable surroundings, incredible decoration and seating, this
usually chilled out bar soon kicks into life on a night, with the
indoor and outdoor (heated) area filling up nicely. This is a friendly
place to go.
- Casa
A very upmarket coffee lounge by day and wine bar
at night. Luxurious seating and surroundings make up for the higher
prices.
- Hogshead
Located on a roundabout on Stafford Street near to
the university and two other bars. It’s a really traditional
pub, offering good food and a wide variety of beers and ales. Try
the Hoegarden beer!
