Malta Hotels
Sliema and Qawra (St.
Paul's Bay district) would be my recommendation for hotels on Malta.
Radisson Hotels (2 of them) and the Malta Hilton
are outstanding, and if you're smart and deal direct you should be able
to negotiate a deal.
When it comes to renting keep in mind that it is largely a buyers market.
Timing is also everything. The island's economy is based on tourism. April
to October are the prime months and you will not do the best deals during
this period unless you are looking at locations out of the tourist areas.
I love Rabat - home to the St. Paul's and St. Agatha's
Catacombs and the grotto where legend has it that St.
Paul resided after being shipwrecked off the coast in the year 60 A.D.
It is St. Paul who is credited with bringing Christianity to the island.
