Annecy is located in south eastern France at the northern tip of Lake Annecy. It is in the Haute-Savoi region.

By Air
Annecy has an airport, however it is not served by many flights. Air France operates a few daily flights to Paris Orly.

Geneva Airport is only a short distance to the north, and has joint facilities for France and Switzerland. Both Air France, Swiss Air Lines and easyJet, plus a number of other European and North American airlines fly to Geneva.

Alternative airports with access to Annecy are Lyon and Chamberry.

By car
Annecy is only a 30 minute drive from Geneva, just over the border in Switzerland. It can also be easily reached by car from Lyon and Chamberry to the west.

By Train
Annecy is served by France's SNCF rail network, with regular services to Paris and elsewhere in the country.
