Shopping in Annecy Annecy is quite a large town catering
for the many needs of its inhabitants. The newer part of town deals primarily
with its retail streets, where shops of all varieties can be found - particularly
along Avenue d'Abigny and the pedestrianised Rue Carnot.
In the old town, shops are largely limited to souvenir and smaller grocery stores catering to the tourists.
