What makes DestinWorld so exciting and up-to-date
is that its content is provided and corrected by its readers. In
these early days we are not going to pretend that we can afford
to send writers all over the globe to write guides to destinations
for these pages, and we certainly don't want to repeat what other
travel guides and web sites have said already. We believe in our
own style and unique service to our passion in travel. Therefore
we require YOU to tell us all about the world. You
live there, so why not share what is good and bad about it?
DestinWorld is comprised of many sub groups
at the moment. We are focussing our interests in the entire travel
spectrum, both online and in the future we hope to move into print
(although this is entirely in-house, with our own writers at the
moment). We are offering you the chance of providing us with content,
having full credit to your name and the chance of having what you
write/photograph published on this site.
We specialise in the following:
Destination Guides - a comprehensive guide
to a certain region of a country or continent. All points of interest
are covered, as are overviews on local customs and prices. We need
places to stay, places to eat and drink. Travel information. As
much as possible.
Travel Articles - a tale, a yarn, a guide. Anything you
write based on the broad spectrum of travel is of interest to us.
We feature one article every month, and maintain an archive
of all used articles. We will also put the current article in our
monthly newsletter!
Travel Photography - in conjunction with our guides we need
a lot of pictures! Subject to quality assurance, photos you take
will be used throughout our spectrum of publications. We need high
quality digital imagery which really captures a particular place
or event.
We do not require that you be a published writer
or a professional to have your work printed here. We only ask that
you be knowledgeable, and have a good grasp of English.
Updating or Adding Information
Where the guides on this site lack information,
or where you feel they are out of date, we urge you to fill in the
gaps for us. However little the actual amount of information you
can give us, we still need it! Our system of sending information
to us, spread over the next few pages, is tailored so that you can
add as much as you want to your submission.
